It works well. The skies contrast with the bleak landscape, which feels very 'Nevada desert' in the MadCom universe. I really like it ^-^
And always happy to see Doc and Hank art heh! Awesome work :D

[Break the Bat]

An iconic moment that defined not only Bats in his perseverance, but the brutality of Bane. The evident pain and torture that one panel in the comics depicted is still stuck with me to this day. And it was what I loved about many of the Dark Knight's series. Moments that struck the mortality and morality of humanity. The Killing Joke. Death in a Family. Hush. How many series out there have these kind of moments that kinda stick with readers, even years later? ^-^
Long ramble short, this is a gorgeous artwork, that pays tribute to a truly crazy moment! Really happy this was featured for Takeover Tuesday :D

Damn man, you nailed it! Great encapsulation of Bane’s literal and figurative impact—that’s what you get when you make a true nemesis to one of the most iconic characters in fiction. Really excellent write-up on the legacy of these moments and characters in general, too!
